We spent
The Morning
getting ready in one of The Prairie Creek Inn’s stunning private cabins. The bride and groom decided to spend the morning apart, sharing first looks with only the bride and her father, her bridesmaids and the groom and their daughters. They opted to keep it traditional for this Rocky Mountain House wedding and decided they didn’t want to see each other until she has coming down the aisle during their wedding ceremony.
The Ceremony
for this intimate Rocky Mountain House wedding happened just down on the back lawn of The Prairie Creek Inn. This wedding was limited to less than 30 people and seriously set my heart on fire for capturing small elopement style weddings as an Alberta wedding photographer!
It was a sunny June day in Alberta for this Rocky Mountain House wedding and we had the most perfect weather to gather with your closest friends and family with a drink in your hand.

Bridal Portraits
This Alberta wedding venue is located in a more wooded area which gave great shade for this June wedding, right beside a rushing rocky mountain house river. We took bridal party photos, popped some champagne and then finished off with intimate bridal portraits with this Edmonton bride and groom.
Finally we headed to the Heartstone restaurant at the Prairie Creek Inn for this Rocky Mountain House wedding
Reception
Here we were served an incredible prime rib dinner, listened to family speeches and snuck away for a private first dance with the bride and groom. The staff and food at the Heartstone restaurant was absolutely incredible and I can’t wait to be back for another wedding hosted here at the Prairie Creek Inn.
