If you’re new here, I’m Taylor and I’m a wedding photographer based in Stony Plain Alberta but I capture weddings all over Canada (primarily Edmonton) and if you knew that already, thank you so much for being here again!! My wedding photography packages just got an upgrade so I thought what better time to come here and talk about complimentary engagement sessions! ALL of my new and improved Edmonton wedding photography packages include complimentary engagement photos AND a second professional wedding photographer on the wedding day. Let’s talk about WHY.
I opt to include a complimentary engagement session in all of my Edmonton wedding photography packages because it’s not just a great time for us to connect before the wedding day, it also essentially gives us a “practise run”. Your engagement photos are structured around making sure you feel comfortable in front of my camera and with my shooting style so that when the wedding day rolls around, you’re a seasoned vet but I’ll of course still be there gently guiding and directing you throughout so you’re never left wondering what the heck to do with your hands!
Your complimentary engagement session also gives you a moment to step away from the absolute chaos that is wedding planning, relax, take a breath and enjoy some time with your partner. Some of my Edmonton couples even turn their engagement session into a whole date night and what better excuse to get out of the house am i right?

The possibilities are truly endless! Whether you take me to your first date spot, your favourite cafe or you lean on my expert location suggestions, we’ll plan engagement photos that feel authentic to you and your partner! For the fall engagement photos featured in this blog, we headed out to Pembina River Provincial Park in Parkland County, Alberta to get the perfect fall photo backdrop. They included their furry friend, which I always highly recommend, they are part of the family after all!
